Formació acadèmica
Maricel Subirà Caselles és Llicenciada en Medicina i Cirurgia per la Universitat de Barcelona (1991). Es va especialitzar en Hematologia i Hemoteràpia a l'Hospital de Sant Pau de Barcelona (1993-1996). Té un Máster en Gestió Hospitalària i Serveis Sanitaris per la Universitat de Barcelona (2008) i un Diploma de postgrau en Direcció de Serveis integrats de Salut – DSIS per ESADE (2015). És Doctora en Medicina per la Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (2016).
Experiència professional
Maricel és Professora Agregada de la Universitat Internacional de Catalunya. És docent en diferents accions formatives pràctiques i d’ensenyament clínic a metges i farmacèutics interns residents i tècnics de cicle formatiu de grau superior des de fa més de 10 anys. Ha treballat com a Metge Adjunt d’Hematologia i Hemoteràpia a l’Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau de Barcelona, a la Fundació Althaia de Manresa i a l’Hospital Sant Juan Despí Moisès Broggi. Actualment és responsable del Servei d’Hematologia de l’Hospital Universitari Sagrat Cor i l'Hospital el Pilar de Barcelona. Ha participat en més de 15 projectes com investigadora principal i en altres com investigadora col·laboradora, ha estat autora en més de 50 publicacions a revistes nacionals i internacionals, ha realitzat més de 25 ponències a nivell nacional i múltiples comunicacions a congressos nacionals i internacionals.
