The University-Company Conference is a meeting with the business world hosted annually by the Faculty of Economic and Social Sciences and aimed at students nearing the completion of their degrees.
The conference's objective is two-fold: firstly, it helps introduce students to the ongoing challenges companies face in an ever-competitive and globalised market. Secondly, it demonstrates the knowledge that future graduates will find necessary -postgraduate and master's degrees, foreign languages, familiarity with new technologies- as well as skills that today's companies are looking for. It is a way of facilitating the student's entry into the business world.
With these objectives in mind, the Faculty of Economic and Social Sciences looks to leading companies in various sectors to help introduce students to today's business world, familiarise them with the labour market, and demonstrate the growing emphasis on the University-Business connection.
