The Vice Rector?s Office for Academic Organization and Teaching (VOAP) organized a new session for the exchange of knowledge and experiences between professionals on Wednesday, 3 March 2010. The LINK© session included the presentation of 10 specific cases by teaching staff from different degree programmes and was brought to a close by the Rector.
More than fifty students in the last two years of secondary school and the advanced vocational training module attended an architecture workshop on Tuesday, 23 February 2010, organized by the ESARQ School of Architecture. The aim was for professors and professionals to raise students? awareness of this field.
Naiara Illanes Calpe, a student in the Ceramic Studies Department of the ESARQ School of Architecture, won first prize in the Cevisama International Design Competition held in Valencia from 8 to 11 February 2010. This is the fifth year that a UIC student has won this competition.
"ESARQ has taught me how to look at architecture and understand what it means. The school’s different departments have introduced me to a variety of options and specialties within the field of architecture, and, thanks to that, I’ve been able to plan and embark on a professional career that I’m really interested in. Additionally, the positive relationships between students and professors improve the quality of our work and make the prospect of entering the workforce into something we can look forward to, rather than fear."
