The internationalisation of technological development and applications is generating major changes in the field of business administration; the UIC Master’s Programme in Business Administration and Industrial Production provides specialised training that reflects these changes and offers students the essential skills and credentials for working in today’s business world: proficiency in multiple languages, the tools for working efficiently in production and service companies within a global environment, expertise in technological tools, and the ability to adapt quickly to rapidly-changing situations.
The Master’s Programme is coordinated jointly by the Universitat Internacional de Catalunya (UIC) and the Polytechnic University of Turin, and constitutes a key component of the undergraduate and postgraduate study programmes in the Faculty of Business Administration and Industrial Production. Founded in 1986, these programmes also feature the participation of the École de Management du Pôle Universitaire Léonard de Vinci (PULV) in Paris and the Athlone Institute of Technology (AIT) in Ireland.
Programme coursework is characterised by its international focus, special attention to the application of technologies in the world of business administration, and a unique professional approach, in accordance with the criteria set forth by the European Higher Education Area.
The programme also boasts the support of trade associations such as the Unión Patronal Metalúrgica (UPM) in Spain and the Unione Industriale and the AMMA in Italy. Both associations facilitate student work experience opportunities and assist in job placement for graduates. This level of participation underlines the interest that today’s companies have in these studies and simultaneously strengthens the bonds between the worlds of businesses and business education.
