The Department of Communication Sciences at the Universitat Internacional de Catalunya is fully aware of the fact that communication provides the main basis for all genuine human interaction. There are many different issues that men and women need to communicate nowadays. We live in a globalised world where it seems things only come to be once they are communicated: communication forms the backbone of present day society.
The Universitat Internacional de Catalunya, through its degrees in both Journalism and Audiovisual Communication, aims to make the communication industry more professional and more humanistic. With this end in mind there are three main models on which we base our work: the humanistic model, the business model and the communications model itself.
