Gastronomy is an integral part of people's identity and provides insight into the history of different cultures and why people are the way they are. Gastronomic knowledge and good culinary practices affect the way we live, in aspects ranging from social interaction to health.
Through gastronomic activities, UIC Barcelona seeks to promote cultural awareness and integration and teach good culinary practices.
Gastronomy Group at UIC Barcelona
The Gastronomy Group was created with the intention of providing a meeting point for gastronomic and wine enthusiasts and to organise conferences and meetings aimed at encouraging culinary and wine culture by promoting dissemination and knowledge of this culture and teaching proper techniques.
It aspires to become a space in which to share knowledge and experiences with the other group members.
This activity is intended for UIC Barcelona staff members and people directly related to them.

How do I become a member and what are the benefits?
You must pay an annual fee of €20 to Student Services (you may attend the inaugural session once you have paid this fee).
