The Degree Programme in Nursing at the UIC grants participants the knowledge, skills and aptitudes necessary for leading a professional career in nursing and meeting the needs of today’s society.
The curriculum lays a heavy emphasis on treatment, research, and professional leadership, and always focuses on the individual, providing a stimulating learning environment for course participants. The programme also allows students to carry out professional practica at some of the most well-regarded hospitals.
Students are also given the opportunity to work in a laboratory equipped with the latest technologies and tools that simulate real-life situations and allow them to learn the skills necessary for confronting a wide array of situations. The clinical practica are carried out in the first year (Practicum I), combining theoretical and practical, hands-on training periods.
