The School of Architecture (EsArq) at the Universitat Internacional de Catalunya (UIC) shall host the first International Emerging Architecture Symposium later this year. The conference is subtitled “Contemporary Techniques and New Strategies” and is tentatively planned for April 9, 10 and 11, 2008.
The Symposium will consist of three sessions. The first - directed by Jordi Truco and Ignasi Perez Arnal and moderated by Mike Weinstock - shall address materials; the second - led by Pau de Solá-Morales - will address systems, and the third - directed by Evan Douglis - will discuss digital technologies.
