GRE - Laboratory for Technological Innovation in Industrialised and Sustainable Construction (LITEIS)
The scientific activity of this group is mainly based on obtaining new subsidies which will allow it to continue the lines of research it began in previous years, based on the premise of innovating and developing new construction systems that are able to provide a response to current needs in the sector. Also environmental awareness in the construction sector has defined new guidelines in terms of attitudes, company strategies, users and the professionals from the sector themselves. In that sense industrialisation and sustainability are presented as the fundamental pillars and cornerstones of this line of work.
On the other hand, the group members are responsible for achieving scientific dissemination both of the research that has been carried out and will be carried out in the next period. This dissemination will mainly focus on the publication of articles in indexed journals in the sector and giving talks at conferences.
As part of this line of research, the group aims to continue to develop the system, analyse the possibility of including a higher/lower quality surface through the use of ceramic fabric and undertake various clinical tests in the laboratory such as:
Simulations using the FEM (finite elements method).
A mathematical analysis of hinges using the general theory of lines of plastification, with the aim of studying their plastic behaviour correctly.
