Papers
Papers
constitute a central component of the European Culture Conference and its
subsequent electronic ISBN publication. The selection process encompasses two
phases:
- acceptance of abstract by the
Conference coordinator
- acceptance by the Conference’s Scientific Committee, following formal
presentation
Procedure for submitting a paper:
- Abstract
has to be sent. Kindly send the abstract to congresocultura@uic.es as a Word
attachment. The title of the document should be the author’s surname
plus the suffix RES. At the same time, registration has to be made.
- The
acceptance of abstract is communicated via
e-mail.
- Payment of the registration fee. At this stage, the paper will be added
to the Conference programme.
- Presentation
of the paper at the Conference. Papers may
be presented in Spanish, English, French, German, Italian, Catalan, or
Portuguese, but, as no simultaneous translation services will be provided,
Spanish and English are the recommended languages.
- The
full text has to be sent, prior to 31 December 2009. Instructions for properly formatting the document will be provided
at the Conference.
- Selection
process made by the Scientific Committee.
The final results will be announced by 31 October 2010.
- Publication
in electronic format, in accordance with the
judgment of the Scientific Committee. October 2011. Papers that were not
presented by their authors at the Conference will not be considered for
publication.
Deadline for submission of abstract: 10th October 2009.
As submissions are accepted as they are received, we recommend
that you send your abstract as soon as possible.
Once the abstract has been accepted, please
inform us if your presentation will require any special equipment (overhead
projector, transparencies, computer with projector), so that we can prepare the
conference hall appropriately. We also ask that you let us know if you have any
preferences regarding the day and time of your presentation.
