The Doctorate in Communication, Education and Humanities is an interdisciplinary, international doctorate that encourages high-quality research.
This Doctoral Programme aims at cross-cutting research, making the most of the epistemological and methodological synergy between these areas of knowledge. Communication and education go hand in hand in all cognitive processes: communicating means educating and instructing the audience in some way, and vice versa: all education always supports a communicative process. At the same time, Communication and Humanities come together in an anthropological vision of the information society, establishing a curricular synergy (double degrees in humanities and communication) that call for joint research topics. Finally, Education and Humanities have rediscovered their shared scientific tradition and have returned to their origins, when they were consolidated as scientific areas within the framework of the same Faculty.
