What?
A semester-long course consisting of 45 on-site hours and 30 hours of online work (5.5 ECTS) that explores the basic rules of Catalan grammar and will help you increase your lexical repertoire, express yourself fluidly and correctly while speaking and writing and have formal conversations on issues of both general and specific interest. This course includes a final B2-level (CEFR) CIFALC exam, which could earn you a certificate recognised by the Government of Catalonia.

Certification
An intermediate B2-level Catalan certificate recognised by the Government of Catalonia. To earn a certificate, you must attend at least 80% of the on-site sessions, successfully complete the online and class-based activities and pass the CIFALC exam.
Credit recognition
This course has a credit load of 5.5 ECTS. If you are a bachelor's degree student at UIC Barcelona, you may earn up to 2 ECTS credits for this course.
