The UIC is grateful to all the individuals and organisations who have enriched the Library’s collection by donating their books and journals. Below are some guidelines and criteria for sending donations.
The Library reserves the right to accept items in accordance with their interest and utility to patrons, and depending on their compatibility with Library planning and collections.
Donated materials will be evaluated on the basis of their content and their suitability. The UIC Library takes full ownership of the work it accepts, and assumes the authority to determine its placement, use and final destination within the Library system.
