Many elderly people live alone in the city. Although they do not require any specialised care, - they manage on their own and take an interest in everything around them - they sometimes need a little company.
At the same time, while young students seek accommodation in the city centre, in flats close to their university, it is not always possible to afford the rent for these kinds of flats.
The inter-generational “Viure i conviure” programme was launched to resolve both these situations in one: company for the elderly and free accommodation for young people.
