Four students in the UIC Faculty of Dentistry were declared the winners of the Global Ceram-X nano-ceramic restorative material Case Contest, which is designed for Dentistry students and organized by the company Dentsply. In this year's competition, the students earned one first prize and two second prizes.

The contest participants had to present a clinical case in which they used Ceram-X, a nano-ceramic restorative material. The annual contest has two phases: the first, in which three winners are chosen, is at the national level; in the second, three winners are chosen at the international level from among the national winners.

In this year's contest, first prize was shared by María Amen and María Ordóñez, and the two second prizes went to Emma Busson and Guilia Spinetto.
