Record turnout for the Rector’s Karting Tournament

The tournament champion was Thomas Petit, a 2nd-year Dentistry student.

On Friday 17 November, the first Rector’s Tournament of the academic year, the Karting Tournament, as has become customary, was held at Kartodrom Catalunya.

Thirty-nine students signed up to take part in the event, the vast majority from the degree in Business Administration and Management. For the first time ever, the participants included five female students.

First place was snapped up by Thomas Petit, a 2nd-year Dentistry student, who was joined on the podium by Marc Berral, a 4th-year Business Administration and Management student, and Daniel Sánchez, a 1st-year Business Administration and Management student. The fastest time of the morning went to Marc Berral in semifinal heat 1, with a time of 1:03.614.
