AEMiCS

This is a group set up by and for health science students which aims to create a connection between people with the same concerns, needs and interests. 

The areas they are interested in include: public health, human rights and peace, clinical and research exchanges, education in health sciences and the medical council.  Thus the aim is to try to cover and respond to the concerns raised by health science students who are on the margins of the academic picture.

In order to form part of the group you only need to participate in one activity.

The advisor for this group is Marta Elorduy, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences.

AEMiCS covers the Sant Cugat area of AECS and also represents the medical students at the forefront of the State Council of Medical Students (CEEM) and the Medical Students Council of Catalonia (CEMCat). 

1. To provide support for students education and creating a social conscience by undertaking various activities and projects, such as world days, conferences, courses, events for solidarity, etc.
2. To promote student cooperation with associations and societies outside this field by representing them as a different entity.
3. To work based on an interdisciplinary approach and thus teamwork between health sciences students from the different faculties. 
4. To represent students in the various associations and student councils outside the university.
