Admission process for Degrees

Fill in the admission application form

Filling in the admission application form is the first phase of the admission process to become a student at UIC Barcelona. Please follow the indications given. When you have filled in the form, you will receive a confirmation e-mail with attached documents. These documents should be read carefully and sent, once signed, to your adviser.

You'll find the admission application form here.

Requirements and documentation

Once you have filled in the admission application form, your programme advisor will contact you to inform you about the requirements and documentation you will need to provide to sit the admission test. The test is online and costs €110.

Payment can be made here

To sit the admission test, you must send us a scanned copy of the following documentation: photocopy of your passport, document of general conditions and LOPD [data protection law] duly signed (the documents attached to the e-mail we sent you), a certificate with the marks of the last two years you have been studying and the receipt showing you have paid the amount required for the admission test. If we require additional documents, your adviser will inform you about this in detail.

Admission test

The admission test is online
It consists of a test and a personal interview. The results of the admission test and the interview will be sent to you via e-mail in approximately 15 days.

The admission test consists of a psycho-technical test, a specific test depending on the studies you choose and a personal interview via Skype. You will arrange the date and time for the test and the interview with your adviser.

Admission

If you have been admitted, we will send you an official letter so that you can reserve your place by paying 20% of the enrolment fee for the first year.

It is important you make this payment within 10 days of receiving the acceptance letter to guarantee your place at UIC Barcelona. You will pay the remainder of the fee for the academic year once you have been officially enrolled.

Enrolment

To become officially enrolled you must legalise and authorise a series of documents depending on your country of origin and studies. Once you have this documentation you will be given your enrolment sheet, making you an official member of UIC Barcelona!

If you are from outside the European Union, to enrol officially at UIC Barcelona you must have your upper-secondary qualification officially recognised. This can be done at the Spanish consulate or embassy in your country or at the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

If you are from the European Union, you must contact the UNED to process your credentials. These credentials are what European students need to study at a Spanish university. The credentials certify that you have the necessary studies to be able to enter the Spanish university system.

*Except Medicine and Physiotherapy. Consult administration process conditions for these degrees with your adviser.

Every country is different. We recommend that before going ahead with any procedure you consult the bodies indicated about the procedure to be followed in each case. Carry out the processes ahead of time to avoid possible last-minute incidents.
