Hear it from them
“I knew I was in the right place when I arrived and the first person I met greeted me by my name. Studying architecture here has exceeded my expectations, and not only in terms of academic organisation, but also thanks to the teaching staff.”
Bruce de Amaral
Fourth-year Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture student
“I think Barcelona is one of the best places to study architecture, because it's such an inspiring city. When I discovered UIC Barcelona, I loved the idea of discovering different cultures. I’ve studied lots of things here, not just architecture, and I’ve met some great people at the School.”

Lecturers and active architects
Out of all our lecturers, 79% are active professionals in the field of architecture who work on real-life projects outside the classroom, and in some cases, from their own studios. This direct contact with professional architectural practice allows them to share their day-to-day professional experiences with their students, as well as divulging what the industry is really like. Similarly, many of our lecturers are also well-respected researchers and experts in fields such as robotics, biodigital architecture, humanitarian design and accessibility, which reinforces the multidisciplinary nature of our students’ education.
