Bioengineering for Dental Prostheses and Orthopaedic Techniques is a new branch of Engineering that focuses on the application of classic engineering principles and techniques to the field of prosthetics (artificial extensions which replace part of the body) and orthotics (external devices that modify functional and/or structural aspects of the musculoskeletal system which never substitute part of the body).
