UIC Barcelona and Fundación Pineda jointly teach this course, in which you will learn the social value of clothing and accessories, the origin and meaning of clothing rules and ways of presenting ourselves.
How trends start and how they mark the rhythm and dynamism of fashion.
Some of the traits that define fashion as a cultural phenomenon.
It is a blended learning course (11 hours online, 4 hours on-site). It consists of 4 topics that form part of the Pineda Foundation virtual classroom. Passing the course involves reading and studying the topics. At the end of each page there are questions that will help you to focus your attention and ensure that you are making progress in the course. At the end of the course you will have to pass a self-assessment and create a final project that will help you to assimilate, consolidate and apply the knowledge you have acquired.
You will have a tutor throughout the year who will provide you with the necessary advice and answer any questions.
It will take a total of 15 hours distributed over 6 weeks: 1 hour thirty minutes per week for the topics, 2 hours per week for the final project and 4 hours for the on-site classes.
