Endodontics is a clinical discipline that encompass the teaching of microbiology, biology, biomaterials, tissue engineering, epidemiology and clinical techniques for the cure or prevention of pulpal and pulpoperiapical diseases. The European program of endodontics is designed to train dental or stomatological Specialised professionals in the field of endodontics. The Program participants will be prepared to run clinical practices, teach, or conduct research in endodontics. The course consists of a theoretical unit that addresses topics in clinical endodontics, seminars on classical and contemporary literature review and analysis and the relationship between endodontics and other specialized areas of dentistry, the study of clinical cases in endodontics that involve other areas of Specialisation. The program also adresses more complicated clinical cases such as non surgical root canal retreatments, endodontic microsurgery, intentional replantation and reconstruction of the endodontically treated teeth.
