Introduction

This course constitutes a laboratory for journalistic projects. Students will learn to conceptualise, develop and distribute journalistic projects in each of the main sectors in which, upon completing degree, they may work professionally: corporate communication, printed and digital publications or transmedia journalism and, finally, the audiovisual world.

In the first half of the course, students will take part in specialised modules in which they will, individually, conceptualise a project related to each of the major professional sectors. At the end of the three modules, students will have the knowledge and tools necessary to decide the type of project they want to do as a Final Degree Project (TFG).

In the second half of the course, in groups of 3 and under the supervision of an academic tutor, students will draft a report that justifies the project they want to complete as their TFG. At the end of the semester, they will defend their work before a panel of expert professionals. The assessments of these professionals will help guide the project and give the students the advice they need to improve it in the second semester.
