Teaching and learning activities

In person

The classes will be taught by different professors from the Periodontics Department and the official language of the classes will be Spanish, which can be alternated with English according to the criteria of each professor. Likewise, the teacher who considers it appropriate, will recommend the reading of articles related to the subject, before or after the class. Class attendance is mandatory, only excused absences will be accepted. Lateness due to surgical treatment prior to class is not excused. Failure to attend more than 25% of classes will lead to direct suspension of the trimester and two weeks of clinical activity at the CUO. Repeated punctuality will be sanctioned with literature review papers to be submitted within a week. If a seminar is absent by more than 75% of the students who are supposed to attend, the seminar will be cancelled.

Evaluation systems and criteria

In person

Three exams will be held throughout the 2022-2023 academic year with questions to be developed by the student. The note to pass will be a minimum of 7 points out of 10. In the case of not passing the exam, the student will have to retake said exam at the end of the course. The exam dates are already determined.
