Introduction

This matter involves clinical care activities typical of a pediatric dentist . Students will become familiar with the clinical history of pediatric patients. Students will known dental materials and clinical sequence the of the different preventive treatments , restorative and pulpar treatments more common in everyday clinical practice.

Pre-course requirements

Overcoming preclinical practices performed in the laboratory.

Objectives

Students should be able to keep their training up to date. Knowing how to adapt their clinical practice and the clinical team advances and changes that occur throughout his professional life , which can be autonomous and self-directed.

Learning outcomes of the subject

The student communicates with patients and their families to explain with scientific criteria but accessible language , diagnosis, treatment plan and prognosis in relation to the scientific evidence . This relationship " pediatric dentist / patient / family " allows the latter to establish the appropriate treatment plan and prognosis as reliable as possible.
