Teaching and learning activities

In person

Fully face-to-face in the classroom

1. Master classes

Lectures, imparting theoretical and basic knowledge in a schematic way and with great iconographic content. Time will be set aside at the end of the theoretical class for questions (20 minutes), clarification or expansion of concepts that the student may need (in the form of a small seminar).

2. Pre-clinical Practical Classes

The Master's students will help and explain to the undergraduate students all the techniques to practice. They will be carried out in the laboratory and in the Dental University Clinic (CUO), with phantoms; exercising theoretical knowledge and handling of instruments and materials, ergonomics, asepsis, patient monitoring, attitude, anesthesia techniques, extraction techniques and suture techniques.

Evaluation systems and criteria

In person

The final assessment will be as follows:

Continuous assessment during laboratory practices: 30%

Final theoretical exam: 70%

THEORETICAL PART: The theoretical content of the subject will include the information transmitted during the online class completed with the content of the bibliography recommended for each subject. The final theoretical exam will be multiple choice questions (4), with only one valid answer. An error in the answer to a question will subtract 0.25 points.
