Introduction

During Clinical Residency II, second-year Master's students carry out supervised internships at the Dental University Clinic (CUO). It is a very important year since they are in the middle of their master's studies and where they can carry out their first advanced oral and implant surgeries. As always when a patient is treated in CUO, it must be presented in the multidisciplinary session by the student and the Department teachers give the go-ahead or not for the intervention to proceed. This activity lasts 4 hours every Tuesday (from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.) throughout the course and allows the student to consolidate basic concepts of surgery such as: material, sterility, ergonomics ... and start in more complex surgeries in order to prepare for the next level of difficulty that awaits them in the third year of IMOS. At all times, the students are tutored by three professors from the Department who supervise the work of the 6 second-year students
