Introduction

Seminario T-P de Estiramientos musculares

Considerando los numerosos efectos positivos, sobre los diferentes sistemas orgánicos del cuerpo humano, que comporta la práctica de estiramientos, son considerados, en sus diferentes métodos, como una herramienta básica para la actuación habitual del fisioterapeuta en su práctica profesional. Los estiramientos ocupan una amplia franja dentro de la cinesiterapia y sus modalidades activa y pasiva, ofrecen un abanico de posibilidades para combinar con otras técnicas terapéuticas y participar en la recuperación de la correcta funcionalidad, así como también en la prevención de las lesiones asociadas a la práctica de la actividad física y deportiva.

Propiocepción

La propiocepción es la capacidad de una articulación de determinar su posición en el espacio, detectar su movimiento, así como la resistencia que actúa sobre ella. Su entrenamiento es importante en el tratamiento de todo tipo de lesiones, tanto para la prevención como para la recuperación de lesiones de diferente origen en extremidades y tronco.

La indicación de ejercicios propioceptivos es una herramienta imprescindible del fisioterapeuta y es por eso que es necesario conocer el funcionamiento, aplicar el criterio para su indicación y progresión individualizada para cada paciente.
