Teaching staff

Dr. MIRÓ COMAS, Abel - amiro@uic.es

Introduction

In the event that the health authorities announce a new period of confinement due to the evolution of the health crisis caused by COVID-19, the teaching staff will promptly communicate how this may effect the teaching methodologies and activities as well as the assessment.

The need to communicate, to reveal oneself and others, is based on the very nature of man. Our communication, in addition, to the extent that it is mediated by symbols and, very particularly, by conceptual language, constitutes a differential fact of the human. Man is an essentially communicative being, but his communicative capacity differs radically from any type of animal "language".

In this subject we propose to work mainly two things: how communication is rooted in the nature of man and, more specifically, in the most intimate and deep of the person, that is, in his "heart" and, in second place , what are the different forms and levels at which human communication can be carried out (friendly dialogue, empty talk, artistic communication, gestures, in organizations ...).
