Introduction
The course includes anatomy and physiology of the cardiovascular and respiratory systems. The most common diseases are also described.
Respiratory and cardiac physiotherapy is a field of growing interest and involvement in state rehabilitation services, both in hospitals and outpatient centers. In this sense, it is essential that they take part in the secondary prevention of ischemic heart disease programs and in the multidisciplinary care of prevalent diseases such as cystic fibrosis.

Objectives
Acquire the knowledge of anatomy and pathophysiology required to understand and use the different techniques of physiotherapy know how to identify serious clinical situations that require urgent medical assessment.

- 39 - Knowledge of general aspects of exogenous and endogenous diseases related to physiotherapy for all the biological systems and the corresponding medical, surgical, orthopedic and physiotherapy treatments.

- 47 - Ability to assess the patient's/client's functional status, taking into account his/her physical, psychological and social aspects.

Application of theoretical knowledge in everyday clinical practice. Detection of warning signs in cardiovascular and respiratory disease.
