Introduction

This course is a laboratory for journalism projects. Students will learn to conceptualise, develop and distribute journalism projects in each of the main sectors in which they will be able to develop their professional careers at the end of the degree: business communication, print and digital publications, transmedia journalism and audiovisual journalism, as well as academic research in the field of communication.

During the first half of the course, specialised modules will focus on the students' individual conceptualisation of a project for each of the main professional and academic sectors. At the end of the first weeks' seminars, students must submit a Final Degree Project (FDP) proposal to be approved by the FDP coordinators.  The assignment of tutors for the FDP will be made after the approval of the proposal.

During the second half of the course, under the supervision of the lecturer, students will begin to prepare the report that will justify the project they wish to carry out as a FDP, in the case of the professional modality, or the research in the case of the academic project. At the end of the semester, they will present it to the PFG coordinators in pitching format. The panel's assessments will serve to guide the project and reconsider the necessary aspects for the execution of the GFP, which the students will carry out during the second semester.
