Introduction

The aim of the course is to situate the student in the legal framework in which he/she will develop his/her profession. All audiovisual communication professionals must know this framework and the legal limits that condition the exercise of their professional activity and, above all, understand its practical application. In this way, audiovisual communication will be carried out in a professional and responsible manner, respecting its legal limits and, at the same time, exercising the corresponding rights.

After taking and passing the course, the student will have acquired the basic legal basis that will serve as a guideline for their future professional practice. In this way, they will be in a position to analyse whether a given professional action is in line with the established legal limits, thus avoiding possible liabilities arising from non-compliance with current legislation.
