In this course the theoretical basis to know the anatomy involved in the creation and perception of sound will be given. It will deep in the functioning of the organs involved in speech and hearing. Special importance to the function of brain in the interpretation of hearing and speech production.
The course will done the theoretical basis, but with the aim of seeking practical applications.
It will be remarkable that is a subject oriented for future teachers. Therefore didactic resources around hearing and speech will be offered.
It's no necessary any pre-couse requirements.
The objectives of the course are:
1 - Identifies and analyzes the neurobiological bases of disorders of hearing and language.
3 - Know the processes involved in language development.
27 - describes and relates the concepts of hearing, language, speech and language.
28 - Know the general structure of the nervous system and the physiology of hearing to understand the importance of neurophysiology in auditory and language development.
29 - Learn about the development of auditory mechanisms.
32 - Learn the basic principles of neurophysiology of language.
