Introduction

From School organization and materials aim to promote an active and meaningful learning. This course has 6 ECTS credits that are taught during the second semester distributed according the contents of:

  • Information and Communications Technology (ICT) -3 ECTS-.
  • School Organization (SO) -3 ECTS-.

Objectives

Information and Communications Technology (ICT)

  • Integrates the ICT in the teaching and learning activities, learning management and professional development.

School Organisation (SO)

  • Discover the landscape of the School Organization: school direction, institutional documents, resources (human, material and functional), school climate, and innovation and learning.

Teaching and learning activities

In person

The methodology will be varied: work based on projects or challenges, gamification, augmented reality, debates, research and exhibitions. Reflective practice will be enhanced and it will stimulate the active role by trying to enjoy the emotion of learning to learn.

The students will develop activities to deliver them in the established terms. Different activities will be carried out: practical, theoretical, group and individual work, seminars, workshops and tutorials. All of them to encourage learning and stimulate the exchange of knowledge from collaboration, dialogue, exploration, intervention and analysis. Also, common spaces of communication will be used to advance in the knowledge and... grow together.

Evaluation systems and criteria

In person

This course is practical so attendance is mandatory. The evaluation of this subject is a general overview, although it is divided into two blocks: Information and Communication Technology and The organization of the school. The student must demonstrate that he has achieved a minimum level of competence in the learning outcomes of the 2 blocks. If this is successful, we can assign the overall grade taking into account the mark of each equally weighted sections.

Different evaluation systems will be used: Learning Dossier, Corporate Research Papers, Oral Presentations, Debates, Written and Audiovisual Productions, Objective Tests, Activity Design, Self-evaluation and Coevaluation. It will value mainly teamwork, teamwork, involvement and participation. We will take into account the group production (50%), an individual test about learning and from learning (30%), and self-evaluation and assessment between equals of collaborative work, active participation and learning  (20%).
