The subject Clinical Applied Psychopathology aims to deepen the psychopathological knowledge updated on the most relevant pictures from the forensic point of view, at the graduate level.

• Recognize the different psychopathological disorders that occur in adulthood

• Know the relevance of psychopathology in the field of clinical and forensic psychology.

• Know the clinical manifestations and the evolutionary course of psychopathological disorders.

• Know the risk factors that are linked to each of the psychopathological disorders and the underlying pathophysiological bases.

• CE5 - Reconocer las especificidades de cada etapa del ciclo vital relativo a la psicopatología clínica y forense, la evaluación psicopatológica y la elaboración del dictamen pericial correspondiente.
• CT1 - Adecuar el lenguaje y la forma de comunicar, en forma oral o por escrito, a los conocimientos científico-técnicos psicopatológico-forenses y/o jurídicos en relación con aspectos psicopatológicos en el ámbito jurídico.
• CT2 - Evaluar e interpretar documentos con relevancia jurídico-penal relativos a aspectos psicopatológicos (sentencias, autos, informes médico-forenses y periciales).
• CT3 - Aplicar las categorías jurídicas abstractas a casos concretos, de forma que se relacionen adecuadamente los conocimientos científico-técnicos y jurídicos en la materia.
• CB1 - Poseer y comprender conocimientos que aporten una base u oportunidad de ser originales en el desarrollo y/o aplicación de ideas, a menudo en un contexto de investigación.

• Formulate hypotheses and identify the factors that determine the problem behavior.

• Adapt language to scientific and technical knowledge in relation to semiology.

• Summarize the essential information to facilitate the process of formulating a clinical case.

• Recognize the main etiological influences in the disorders and clinical problems of the adult stage.

• Recognize the psychopathological manifestations of each disorder, the associated symptoms and epidemiological trends.

• Identify functional variables of acquisition and maintenance of problems and disorders in examples of clinical cases.

Topic 1: Introduction to Clinical Psychopathology.

Topic 2: Mood Disorders

Topic 3: Sexual and sexual identity disorders

Topic 4: Childhood and adolescence disorders

Topic 5: Cross-cultural psychiatry

Topic 6: Personality disorders

Topic 7: Dementia and other cognitive disorders

Topic 8: Schizophrenia and psychotic disorders

Topic 9: Substance-related disorders

Topic 10: Adaptive, anxiety, fictitious, dissociative and somatomorphic disorders.

The methodology of this subject is divided as follows:

• Master Classes
• Analysis of clinical cases
• Psychopathological evaluation

Class attendance. A minimum of 80% of attendance to face-to-face sessions will be required in order to be evaluated and satisfactorily pass the subject.

Final examination of the test subject. 60% of the final grade.

Directed Case Studies: continuous evaluation. It will be 20% of the grade.

Bibliographic review: It will be 20% of the grade.
