The review of the current literature from a critical and constructive view is an essential prerequisite for the development of the necessary skills in aesthetic restorative dentistry and for dental methodology training in dentistry research as well as knowledge of new materials and technologies.
The subject will consist of:
Seminars, which will be held on Fridays from 8am to 10pm, attendance and class participation is mandatory.
Preclinical practices were developed on Thursdays from 3pm to 7pm and Friday from 10am to 2pm, attendance is mandatory.
Knowledge of the bases of the dental anatomy
- Gain knowledge of adhesive dentistry techniques
- Encourage class discussion on each subject we studied in the course
- Acquire the skills to make group presentations
- Develop the skills to carry out restorative dentistry techniques
Students will acquire knowledge of advanced techniques in Advanced Direct Operative Dentistry. At the same time, will acquire the skills to perform l these techniques in the dental clinic.

- Closing of diastema
- Creating guides with composite
- Reconstruction of peg-shaped teeth
- Splinting with glass fibra
- Removal techniques of hypo plastic stains
- Teeth whitening
Practical contents second term:
- Closing of diastema

- Splinting with glass fibra
Theoretical and practical contents third term:
- Diagnosis porcelain veneers.
- Wax up in cases of porcelain veneers
- Pre provisionalization
- Preparation of silicone keys to cut veneer
- Protocol of carved porcelain veneers
- Protocol cementation of porcelain veneers
Training activities consists of seminars on topics of the subjects based on the literature given by the teacher.
