Introduction

In the event that the health authorities announce a new period of confinement due to the evolution of the health crisis caused by COVID-19, the teaching staff will promptly communicate how this may effect the teaching methodologies and activities as well as the assessment.

Oral implantology in the Dental office is performed routinely. The scientific evidence is making strides and it is difficult for the young professional or experienced clinician to keep up with all the new concepts and publications. This seminar will present clinical cases with a practical and scientific approach. The student must present cases using all the resources available today, such as Cochrane or PubMed databases. The presentation and defense of cases will be an essential part of their training during the academic year.

Pre-course requirements

Preparation of clinical cases in the University Dental Clinic (CUO) by means of clinical photography, plaster models mounted on semi-adjustable articulator and complementary examinations. Will be presented with a standard template in PowerPoint or Keynote. The student must have seen and visited the patient.
