Clinical practices in the CUO International University of Catalonia, always with the help and supervision of a teacher of the discipline. To perform in clinical practice the student must have demonstrated theoretical knowledge and sufficient clinical skills for the proper conduct of clinical practice.
The student must demonstrate that is trained to perform clinical practice on patients.
The main objective is to make as many clinical cases in the CUO facilities, including endodontic treatments and retreatments.
The student must document with radiographs, photographs and videos all the cases performed. cases will be reviewed in clinical sessions by teachers of the subject.
The student must be able, under the supervision of the teacher, to diagnose and perform appropriate root canal treatments at all times.
· Be familiar with all the concepts acquired during the first and second year of the Master of endodontics.
· Be able to overcome hardship cases High according to the American Association of Endodontics standards.
To understand and be able to perform advanced procedures such as removal of endodontic instruments, seal perforations, revascularization treatments, correct traumatology treatments, instrumentation of double curvatures and handling of calcified canals. In addition to mastering the different obturation techniques, both laterally and thermoplastics.
- Be able to document cases, take pictures and videos of the treatments carried out in private practice.
- Present in clinical sessions (always in sequential order) a case chosen by the teacher assigned either by the difficulty, by resolution or diagnostic interest.
En aquesta assignatura els alumnes realitzen pràctiques clíniques en pacient que engloben tots els continguts de les assignatures teòriques impartides en el màster, fomentant la presa de decisions clíniques basada en l'evidència científica.
The student will come at least one week per quarter to work on patients at the university clinic. Each week will have to submit at least five cases to his or her tutor who will revise and advise each case
Evaluation of this course is done through continuous assessment. The student must submit to the teacher: exercises, cases, and work in clinic for the teacher to assess. Students must submit a number of root canals finished, at the discretion of the director of the master (approximately 200 finished cases).
