Family firms are the world’s oldest form of business.
In Spain, 85% of companies are categorized as being family-owned, accounting for 70% of Spain’s GDP.
This course is addressed to all who will work on a family business or whom pertain to a family business.
There are three main variables that configure the nature of the family firms: family, business and ownership. In this sense, this subject will provide the key issues of family firms such as definition and characteristics of a family firm, family business governance, the role of the ownership, family constitution, and succession in a family business, philanthropy, among others.
For this purpose, various methodologies will be applied: participatory classes from experts on these topics, case studies in group discussion and family businesses living cases.
There are no previous requirements
