VERTEBRAL COLUMN SEMINAR
This seminar consists of a theoretical part which intends that students acquire knowledge that allows them to establish a good foundation for learning to value and know the rachis in a comprehensive and analytical way, its alterations in the sagittal plan, scoliosis ... It is essential that students have the first practical contact during the study of this subject. We must take into account that the vertebral column develops a protective function in the spinal cord and determines important roles in the static and dynamic body, which explains that its pathological processes have significant repercussions on our body. Therefore, it is important for the Physiotherapist to have knowledge of the practical methods of treating spinal deformities.

VERTEBRAL COLUMN SEMINAR
General objectives
Know and diagnose the main changes of the vertebral column during growth and the most suitable treatments for each alteration.
Specific objectives
Expand vertebral column examination methods functionally and radiologically.
Evaluate and provide guidelines for the type of treatment, with specific exercises for the rehabilitation of the vertebral column.
Interrelate different exercises with its corresponding alteration.

The evaluation of the course will be based on the assessment of:
a. 40% Continuous assessment: Radiology: 10%
Photographic Control: 10%
Execution of exercises: 20%
b. 50% Theoretical exam.
c. 10% attendance and participation in class-seminars, taking into account punctuality, interest and work done in class. Attendance is mandatory to 70% of the practical classes. If by reason of (sports, culture, work, etc.) the student needs to absent themselves from these classes, he must keep in mind that only 30% of the hours of non-attendance are allowed. It is the responsibility of the student to know about these percentages about an approach.
It must be overcome each of the parties to pass the course.
If the first call to the student has a NP, it can count on the second call to pass the subject.
