To communicate with correctness and accuracy criteria is a core competency for any journalist. This competition requires not only skill, but above all, technical and practical. Any journalistic communication is established on the basis of written communication that provides security, clarity and depth. So, just on the basis of correctness in language and written communication, you can set the performance of the journalistic profession.
With the subject of Written Communication students will understand the importance of communication and every factor that integrates it; will acquire tools for generating content and organization and transmission of data, facts and arguments; will learn the keys of storytelling and writing techniques; will develop their creativity; and will practice with both text analysis as with their own writing style.
No pre-course requirements are needed to enrol in this subject.

Coaching. Monitoring how students learn the content of the subject, either individually or in groups. In the coaching sessions, mistakes will be corrected, queries answered, and exercises and activities to achieve the established objectives will be suggested. | 0.5 |
Focused Praxis. Handing in occasional exercises to learn theory through practice. | 1'5 |
Lectures. In lectures, lecturers/professors not only transmit content or knowledge, but also, and above all else, attitudes, motivation, skills and values, etc. They also ensure that participants can express their opinions and arguments to the other students. | 2 |
Practical workshop. A highly practical working activity, where students can acquire skills that are practical or also theoretical (intellectual skills, logical skills, critical skills, intellectual learning skills, study skills, quoting skills, etc). | 2 |
The course consists of three sections: writing classes, workshop and a course of spelling.
To approve you must also attend at least 80% of classes.
The writing portion has 90% of the final grade. The course of spelling 10%.
Each of the three parts is evaluated as follows:

Other calls:
Second call: If the student suspends the first call, must be submitted to the exam of the two parts of the subject. The final grade will be the weighted average of each part.
Third call: If the student suspends the subject in the second call, will have to register again for the whole subject and take it. The student will have to attend the classes of the two parts of the subject and pass it.
Fourth call: The student will have to examine and / or do the corresponding work to pass the subject.
Fifth call: If the student suspends the subject, they will have to take advantage of the conditions established by the extraordinary calls.
