Introduction to Game Theory
Game Theory is the study of strategic interactions among rational agents. Strategic interactions happen constantly, from friendly interactions like deciding with a friend the movie that we will watch tonight to very hostile interactions like trade wars.
Game Theory provides a set of valuable tools that we can use to our own advantage in a negotiation or when deciding how much to produce when we do not know the market production costs of our rivals.
In this seminar, we will review some of the most important concepts of Game Theory and also some of their most remarkable applications to economic problems, with a broader aim at learning how to think strategically and consciously.
The course is taught by Dr. María Martín.
