Social Business and the Sustainable Development Goals: a Global Challenge

This workshop aims to offer a transversal perspective of social companies and cooperatives, with the new economic model defined by the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), set out by the UN 2030 Agenda. It will also look at the differences between these social businesses and commercial companies, which share a market but have very different ultimate objectives. Lastly, several examples will be given to illustrate the effects of the implementation of competitive strategies in social businesses.
