Get into the Christmas spirit… with the activities we have organised.
Christmas is a good time to strengthen ties with the entire university community!
And for Christmas?
Christmas is a time to make plans with family, friends and with yourself. There are traditional plans, such as Midnight Mass, Christmas carols and the Three Kings’ Parade; original ones, like Secret Santa; and plans which foster a sense of community, like work dinners.
Plans, like the ones from home: the Christmas log, Els Pastorets and living nativity scenes, dinner on Christmas and St Stephen’s day; Plans that come from further away: the lighting of the tree, St Nicholas, streaming lights, stockings hanging by the chimney and Christmas markets.
Here at UIC Barcelona, we also have Christmas plans. Start the advent season off with the lighting of the tree. There will be competitions: nativity scenes, short stories and drawings. There will also be family celebrations with the royal page, musical plans, charitable plans such as the food collection campaign and hot chocolate with friends.
But no matter where you are from or what you do, all plans lead us back to Bethlehem.
