Dr Janine Knight’s main research interests lie within the field of Computer Mediated Communication (CMC) for language learning, learner agency in online speaking tasks, multimodality in audioconferencing tasks, multilingualism and CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning). She is currently studying how tools for analysing discourse can be applied to interaction with interface icons (text, images and navigational icons).
