Monica Clua has a Master’s Degree in Education Research in Language and Literature from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB). She has recently started her PhD in which her interests centre on semiotics, with a current focus on embodied multimodality as a meaning-making system in the context of English as the academic lingua franca.
