Acquire the skills you need to create a small film project. You will become capable of understanding the basic elements of cinematographic language and working in a team while shooting a short film.
This course is aimed at upper secondary school students who are interested in the audiovisual field.
Over the five day course, students will learn about the different stages of the filming process and will shoot a short film with a script that will have been selected beforehand:

Days 3 and 4
Filming. You will film within the UIC Barcelona facilities and also in the centre of Barcelona.
Editing and submission.
In 2009 he graduated from ESCAC (Escuela Superior de Cine y Audiovisuales de Cataluña), specializing in direction.
Cargols! (Snails!), his graduation project, is a romantic comedy featuring a giant snail. Canal+ bought the television rights, and it has been selected by more than 100 national and international festivals, including Sitges, Sydney, London, New York, Hong Kong and Munich and has won more than 15 prizes.
After graduating he worked for production companies such as Escándalo Films, Arena Shots and Allehop on projects like “Arrós Covat” and “Animals”. He also participated in the workshops Four Corners and Base New Talent where he presented the project “Matt’s Summer”. He has also directed adverts for brands such as Nike, Coca-Cola, Movistar, Converse, P &G, and Promise among others.
Tercer Grado (Day Release) co-written with Jesus Lloveras and produced by Breaking Pictures, was his feature film debut. It has been selected by more than 20 festivals and has won over 15 prizes.
Currently he teaches at UIC Barcelona and ESCAC, reviews films for El Latino Newspaper of Santa Barbara, and is developing his next feature film project.
