What?

“Welcome to Catalonia, Welcome to UIC Barcelona” is a 15-hour on-site course (1.5 ECTS) that will help you get acquainted with Catalan language and culture.

All members of the university community (students, PAS and PDI) and non-university members

Certification

Certificate of attendance and credit recognition. To earn a certificate, you must attend and successfully complete at least 80% of the sessions and pass the final exam.

Credit recognition

This course has a workload of 1.5 ECTS credits. Degree students at UIC Barcelona will NOT be able to earn ECTS credits for this course. If you are an Erasmus student, you can include this course in your learning agreement. For mobility students, the number of credits recognised for this course will depend on your home university. Application for admission

No prior knowledge of Catalan is required.

To register, all you need to do is fill out the form corresponding to the semester in which you would like to take the course. After submitting the form, you will receive an e-mail with the necessary information to complete the enrolment process.
