What?
A semester-long course consisting of 45 on-site hours and 30 hours of online work (5.5 ECTS) that will help provide you the necessary tools to resolve basic communicative situations in Catalan from both everyday life and academic life at the University. This course includes a final A2-level (CEFR) CIFALC exam, which could earn you a certificate recognised by the Government of Catalonia.

Certification
A basic A2-level Catalan certificate recognised by the Government of Catalonia. To earn a certificate, you must attend at least 80% of the on-site sessions, successfully complete the online and class-based activities and pass the CIFALC exam.
Credit recognition
This course has a credit load of 5.5 ECTS. If you are a bachelor's degree student at UIC Barcelona, you may earn up to 2 ECTS credits for this course.
