Dr Gilabert is invited to the Sorbonne to speak about Early Modern Period theatre
The lecturer from the Faculty of Humanities provided new keys to understanding and reading dramatic texts from the Spanish Golden Age.
Dr Gaston Gilabert was invited to give a talk in the Salle des Actes at Sorbonne University on theatre in the Early Modern Period. In the presentation given on 25 May, he provided new keys to understanding and reading dramatic texts from the Spanish Golden Age.
In addition to the general public, event attendees also included lecturers and PhD students in the fields of Hispanic studies, language and literature and humanities from a host of institutions, including the Sorbonne, Paris Nanterre University, the University of Nantes-IUF and the Roland Mousnier Centre.
